For Kendon Tallant, racing isn't just something he does—it's part of who he is.
"Racing is definitely in my blood."
With a dad who raced when he was younger and a mom's family deeply involved in racing, Kendon has been surrounded by motorsports from the very beginning. Growing up in a racing family means race cars, race tracks, and competition have always been a part of everyday life.
Now, three years into his own racing journey, Kendon is continuing the family tradition while making a name for himself on the track.
Growing Through Quarter Midget Racing
Quarter midget racing teaches young drivers valuable skills that extend far beyond the racetrack. Drivers learn patience, discipline, sportsmanship, and the importance of hard work while competing against some of the best young racers in the country.
Kendon currently competes in multiple classes, including Jr. Honda, Jr. Animal, and Jr. 160, giving him plenty of opportunities to gain experience and develop his skills behind the wheel.
With every race, he continues to build confidence and improve as a driver.
Biggest Racing Accomplishment
Every racer has that one victory they'll never forget.
For Kendon, that moment came when he captured a win at the Dixie Shootout while competing in the Blue Rookie division.
Winning such a prestigious event is exciting for any racer, but it was even more special because it happened at his home track.
"Winning the Dixie Shootout when I was in the Blue Rookie class was pretty awesome since it was at my home track."
There's nothing quite like celebrating a big victory in front of family, friends, and the racing community that has supported you from the start.
Racing Runs in the Family
One of the things we love most about Kendon's story is the family connection.
