Featured Racer Spotlight: Georgia Pettit
This week's Race Mode Co Featured Racer proves you don't have to choose between being a racer and being a girly girl.
Meet Georgia Pettit, a 16-year-old Junior Dragster racer from Willow Beach, Ontario, who loves racing just as much as she loves fashion and beauty—and she's got some pretty impressive hardware to show for her five years behind the wheel.
Most recently? An NHRA Diamond Wally and the title of 2026 NHRA Division 1 Champion.
Meet Georgia Pettit
Age: 16
Hometown: Willow Beach, Ontario
Racing Class: Junior Dragster
Home Track: Toronto Motorsports Park
Years Racing: 5
Georgia has spent the past five years competing in the Race Cayuga Sportsman Series, but racing actually entered her life before she ever got behind the wheel herself.
Her brother started racing when he was seven, and Georgia was there watching.
Eventually, watching wasn't enough.
She decided she wanted to give racing a try for herself—and five years later, it's safe to say she made the right decision.
From Watching Her Brother to Building Her Own Racing Story
What began with watching her brother race quickly became Georgia's own passion.
Over the past five years, she has continued to develop as a Junior Dragster racer while collecting some major accomplishments along the way.
Georgia has already earned two Jr. Wallys, but 2026 brought her biggest accomplishment yet.
She won the NHRA Bracket Finals, becoming the 2026 NHRA Division 1 Junior Dragster Champion and earning an NHRA Diamond Wally.
That's one trophy that deserves a very special place on the shelf.
More Than a Championship
Wins and championships are a huge part of Georgia's racing story, but they're not the only thing she'll take away from the sport.
During her five years of racing, Georgia has built friendships with people she may never have met without the racetrack.
Her family says she has made so many friends through racing and believes those friendships will last forever.
That's something racers everywhere can relate to.
The people you meet in the pits often start as competitors, become friends, and eventually feel more like family. Long after a race weekend is over, those relationships are some of the best things we carry with us.
Race Cars, Race Shirts & A Little Glam
There's another part of Georgia's submission that we absolutely love.
She's a racer—but racing isn't her only interest.
Georgia loves racing, fashion, and beauty and describes herself as a girly girl who proudly wears her race shirts.
And we are HERE for it.
Being a racer doesn't have to look just one way.
You can love getting dressed up and still love staging your Junior Dragster. You can love beauty and horsepower. You can be a girly girl and a Division Champion.
In fact, that's exactly the kind of racer individuality we love celebrating at Race Mode Co.
Five Years That Led to a Diamond Wally
Georgia's racing journey started because she watched her brother and thought she'd like to give it a try.
Five years later, she has:
Two Jr. Wallys.
An NHRA Bracket Finals victory.
An NHRA Diamond Wally.
And the title of 2026 NHRA Division 1 Champion.
That's quite a journey for a racer who is still only 16 years old.
But some of the most important things Georgia has gained can't be displayed in a trophy case—the experiences, memories, friendships, and love for racing that she's built along the way.
From everyone at Race Mode Co, congratulations, Georgia!
We're proud to have you as one of our Featured Racers, and we can't wait to see where racing takes you next.
