For Emmie, racing has always been a part of life.
Her family's racing roots stretch back generations, beginning with her grandfather, who competed in NHRA Stock Eliminator and Super Stock competition. Today, the racing tradition continues throughout the family.
Her older brother, Kyler, races in the Sportsman class at Bunker Hill Dragstrip, while her cousin, Chas, competes alongside her in the Junior Dragster ranks.
Long before she ever climbed into a race car herself, Emmie loved spending time at the racetrack. Whether attending the U.S. Nationals or cheering on racers at Bunker Hill Dragstrip, the sport captured her attention at an early age.
"I have always loved going to the track to watch racing whether it be at the U.S. Nationals or local races at Bunker Hill."
Falling in Love with Racing
Emmie officially began her racing career in June of 2023, and her passion for the sport has only continued to grow.
"I continue to love racing more and more every day. I take every chance I can to be at the track when possible."
That dedication is what separates many racers from competitors. The desire to constantly learn, improve, and spend time around the sport has helped Emmie develop quickly in only a few short seasons.
Learning Through Competition
One thing Emmie strongly believes is that racing against larger fields and tougher competition helps make drivers better.
In December 2025, she attended the Junior Dragster Christmas on the Coast event in Gulfport, Mississippi for the first time. The event featured fields of more than 200 racers competing for large purses in both 5K and 20K races.
Rather than focusing on who was in the other lane, Emmie concentrated on her own performance.
"I just needed to worry about myself and not who was in the other lane."
That mindset has become an important part of her racing philosophy.
She believes that competing at larger events with stronger competition helps racers develop mentally and become more prepared for future rounds and bigger opportunities.
Biggest Racing Accomplishment
While Emmie has only been racing for a few years, she has already accomplished something many racers spend years trying to achieve.
During her very first season of drag racing, she captured the Midwest Jr. Super Series Championship in the 13-and-up age group.
Winning a championship in your first year behind the wheel is an incredible accomplishment and speaks to both her natural ability and dedication to learning the sport.
Looking Toward the Future
Emmie has already set several goals for her racing future.
Among them are:
- Competing at the JDRL Eastern Conference Finals in Bristol.
- Achieving a perfect .0000 reaction time.
- Reaching the final round at one of the prestigious Christmas on the Coast events.
With her strong family support system, growing experience, and determination to continue improving, those goals are well within reach.

One of the things that stands out most about Emmie's story is the importance of family.
From her grandfather's NHRA racing career to her brother and cousin racing today, motorsports has connected multiple generations of her family.
That shared passion is what makes drag racing so special.
